How Kentron Group collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Kentron Group ("we", "us") is the data controller for information collected via this website. We are committed to the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and ICO guidance. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
1. Who we are
Kentron Group, registered in England & Wales. Contact for all privacy queries: privacy@kentrongroup.com.
2. Data we collect
- Contact & quote forms. Name, email, phone, company, message content and metadata (timestamp, IP, user agent).
- Newsletter subscriptions. Email address and consent state.
- Analytics. Pseudonymised usage data (pages viewed, referrer, device type) via Google Analytics 4 — only after consent.
- Cookies. Strictly necessary by default; analytics and marketing cookies only after consent.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to quote and contact requests (contract / pre-contract).
- To send newsletters you have subscribed to (consent).
- To understand site performance and improve our service (legitimate interest, post-consent analytics).
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, safety, accreditation).
4. Retention
Quote and contact records: 6 years (commercial / tax). Newsletter lists: until unsubscribe + 12 months audit log. Analytics: 14 months.
5. Sharing
We never sell personal data. Limited processors support us (hosting, transactional email, analytics) under written data-processing agreements. Sub-processor list available on request.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing — plus the right to complain to the ICO. Email privacy@kentrongroup.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. International transfers
Any transfer outside the UK uses UK IDTA / EU SCCs with adequate safeguards.
8. Changes
We version this notice; material changes are flagged at the top.
